Hey
Just a few extra things today, events have now started to be added to the system, you will now see an Events List in the Resources menu on the left.
A new block pops up in the top left hand corner of the menu's now when you have new private messages, should help those that were missing private messages.
Regards

Hey all
Just another quick update to the site, the more vigilant amongst you may have noticed the new Members Link on the left, the maps are still beta so don't report any bugs to us as there is nothing we can do about it.
Also this site now supports Youtube videos as autotags, so what do I mean by autotags?
They take the form of
[#youtube: V95M-wPaRXA#]
Minus the # signs
The random characters are the id of the movie as below

Hey all
Today we have passed the 100,000 hits mark and will hit 500 members by the weekend, many thanks for your continued participation on this site.
Not only are we giving bike advice but DIY as well :) just goes to show what a wide range of talents you all have.
In addition to the hits over the last 4 weeks we have had ~ 2000 forum posts as well, it sure keeps us guys busy :)
Many thanks

Hey all
Just another quick update to the site, in our continued bid to fight spam and bots, I have tonight implented a captcha routine for registration.
For those who don't know what captcha is, its basically that security code you now have to enter on alot of sites in order to register and login. You don't need to do this on login as I have always found it a pain, but any new user registrations will require to enter the code.
Thats all for now.

Hi all
We would like to extend our thanks to everyone for continuing to support this site, since we put this new site up last week we have had at least 75 new members (and are fast approaching 400) and over 30,000 page hits in one week alone.
We hope you are enjoying the new site.
We do realise one or two had issues logging in to begin with but these were down to what we believe were cookie issues.
Many Thanks again all, and heres to the continued growth of this great site.
